This World Lives on Hope!

Hey! This is the time of year when we decorate our homes and Christmas trees and spend time with our loved ones. There are lovely lights and decorations everywhere you look. As we all know, Christmas is a time to remember the birth of Jesus Christ, who is revered as Christianity's founder and supreme authority. It is one of the annual holy Christian holidays observed to honour the birth of Jesus. Followed by these celebrations, we celebrate the end of the Gregorian calendar year on December 31st. We celebrate the year that passed by, be grateful for the experiences and the lessons we learnt and welcome the new year with new hopes and goals. 

 

This time of the year, we try to put past the struggles of the year and hope to make things better for ourselves and those around us. This tiny hope has a big impact on our lives and helps us start the new year off right. We have heard the saying, this world lives on hope- “Umeed par duniya kayam hai.” Well, it might seem a little impractical but it’s the truth. This world lives on hope. A hope to explore everything in outer space, a hope to reduce the effects of global warming on earth and the ecosystem, a hope to revive nature, a hope to reduce the crime rate, a hope to eradicate hunger, increase the literacy rate, and a hope to bring many positive changes in the world. 

 

New year, new hopes, new plans! This year too brings new hopes to bring the positive change we are looking for. For Filaantro, entering the new year means working even better than the last year and achieving more goals than the previous year. Filaantro is a crowdfunding platform that ensures people’s exceptional ideas and donations requirement for a genuine and noble cause to be fulfilled and can lead to the betterment of humankind. It is an initiative to make this world one community where everyone can grow along with one another by helping each other. For a crowdfunding platform like ours, we need a powerful team of dedicated members and the generous support of kind donors like you. 

 

 

 

This year support us in our goals that are for the great good and start the new year on a positive note. Getting back to hopes, you see numerous people working on the streets that do not have a home or a fixed income. They get to eat a meal only if they work that day. Such people live in the hope that one day they will have enough food to eat twice a day or the least, they will have enough food that fills their stomach to contentment, and there will not be a need to sleep empty stomach. Our Zero Hunger program carries food relief projects along with partner NGO Child Help Foundation that serves nearly 1800 meals to underprivileged children daily, across India. In the coming year, we are ready to increase the number of meals served and help more children have nutritious daily meals. Hunger is a global crisis and we must make this world equally a home for all living organisms. At individual levels, we all can take simple steps to be a part of food relief programs. 

 

Their problems do not end here, underprivileged children like those not having access to healthy and enough food, do not have access to quality education as well; there are multiple reasons for them not having quality or equal education. Poverty, lack the number of teaching staff in schools, lack of advanced tools, the Impact of COVID-19, gender inequality, long-distanced schools, and lack of infrastructure is a few of the many challenges Indian rural schools have been facing for many years. To cope with these, government and non-profit organizations have made several efforts. Fortunately, their efforts have been successful to some extent, but not seen everywhere. We all need to join hands in order to improve rural education in India.

 

 

 

Filaantro firmly supports the education of such underprivileged children who cannot acquire their very own right to education. Children from rural areas, especially, need your support. With the correct support system in place, they will bloom like a flower and achieve their ambitions. We need your help to accomplish this goal of educating numerous underprivileged children. They hold the future of our country in their hands, and their education should not stop at any cost.

 

Apart from hunger and a lack of education facilities, Filaantro is a crowdfunding platform that supports every genuine cause. Especially, medical emergencies. Today there is a treatment known for several chronic and severe diseases; these are expensive and prolonged ones. Affording such life-saving treatments can be nearly impossible. Providing assistance to raise funds for such treatments or supporting hefty medical bills, Filaantro believes in crowdfunding for a cause. 

 

As we said, this world lives on hopes, let’s start the new year with the hope that with a little help from every individual, we can change the world starting it with the year 2023. Without your help, we cannot bring about the change required to make this world a better place.
