Indian Cricket has more importance than our National Sport

Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two sides of eleven members on a field at the centre of which is a 22-yard (20-metre) pitch with a wicket at each end, each including two bails balanced on three stumps. The game progresses when a player on the fielding team, called the bowler, "bowls" (propels) the ball from one end of the pitch towards the wicket at the other end. The batting side's players score runs by hitting the bowled ball with a bat and running between the wickets, while the bowling side tries to prevent this by keeping the ball within the field and getting it to either wicket and chasing each batter (so they are "out"). Means of dismissal include being bowled, when the ball hits the stumps and dislodges the bails, and by the fielding side either catching a hit ball before it touches the ground, or hitting a wicket with the ball before a batter can cross the crease line in front of the wicket to complete a run. When ten batters have been dismissed, the innings finishes and the teams swap positions. The game is adjudicated by two umpires, aided by a third umpire and match referee in international matches.

Forms of cricket range from Twenty20, with each team batting for a single inning of 20 overs and the game generally lasting three hours, to Test matches, played over five days. Traditionally cricketers play in all-white kit, but in limited-overs cricket, they wear club or team colours. In addition to the basic kit, some members wear protective gear to prevent injury caused by the ball, which is a hard, solid spheroid made of compressed leather with a slightly raised stitched seam enclosing a cork core layered with a tightly wound cord.

Cricket is the most popular and favourite sport in India by far and is played almost everywhere in the nation. Cricket is an important part of Indian culture and top players, like Sachin Tendulkar, MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli often attain star status and are some of the most influential figures in the country. The Indian team shares a long-standing rivalry with the Pakistani team, and India-Pakistan matches are some of the most anticipated matches in the world and the most exciting one's well, and one of the most-watched television broadcasts in the world. But this year i.e 2021 the luck was with our opponent. This was Pakistan's first win over India at World Cups (ODI and T20I). "It was a historic day for the Pakistan cricket team. They won the game pretty convincingly. But the team should not get complacent as there's a lot of cricket left to play. India lost half the game after they lost the toss," said Akhtar,

Cricket is like a religion in India and cricketers are praised like gods. Children, as well as adults, enjoy this game so much. Children dream to be like [legendary Indian cricketer] Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kholi. The first gift that children ever wanted is mostly a cricket bat-ball and to have their team play evening-gully cricket every evening. It is one activity that keeps every cricket-loving child going and almost all gullies, streets and grounds would be occupied by kids playing cricket morning to evening or watching them fight over the same. This is just a common sight in India. And few of these kids get inspired and have taken their dream forward and enrolled themselves in Cricket Coaching classes to learn about the sport in depth. Some might have ended up playing for the school team or the district teams as well but for the national team the best among the best are picked to represent the nation

According to a Zee news article, Team India's outgoing head coach Ravi Shastri on Monday (November 8 '21) claimed that Indian cricket team players are mentally and physically drained after staying in the biosecure bubble for the last six months. Virat Kohli-led India was knocked out of the World Cup on Sunday (November 7 '21) after Afghanistan failed to defeat New Zealand. India's match against Namibia in ICC T20 World Cup 2021 was also the end of Ravi Shastri's tenure as the head coach of the Indian men's cricket team. Ravi Shastri delivered one final speech as the head coach of the Indian men's cricket team. He told the players how proud he was for what the team had achieved in the last 5-6 years.

28th December 1934 was a historic day in the history of women’s cricket – the first day of women’s test cricket. Women’s cricket is slowly starting to get the appreciation it has always deserved but we have behind us a rich history of cricket matches that are unknown to most. While we honour the presence of women’s cricket and await the bright future, it’s an ideal time to relive matches from the past. India made its Test debut in 1976, against the West Indies, and its One Day International (ODI) debut at the 1978 World Cup, which it hosted. The team has made the World Cup final on three occasions and they are in the path of hitting a peak.

India has been knocked out of the T20 World Cup 2021 denting their hopes of winning this season. No matter who you are, where you are, Indian Cricket still will be played and watched with great enthusiasm, joy and passion. Irrelevant of the age, kids or oldies, everybody has an idea about how India is doing when it comes to cricket.

Crowdfunding online is one of the methods to raise funds online for the kids who want to achieve their passion for cricket but are lacking in funds. Everyone cannot be a cricketer but we can surely help everyone in chasing their dream by raising funds for them online. Similarly, Divyang Wheelchair Cricket Association is an affiliate of the Divyang Cricket Control Board of India in the year 2007. The Divyang Wheelchair Cricket Association handles all the affairs of the Maharashtra Wheelchair Cricket Team, without getting any help from any government body. Over the years the Divyang Wheelchair Cricket Association has been organizing cricket tournaments at regular intervals with funds received from a number of NGOs and voluntary donors. Divyang Wheelchair Cricket Association is planning to organize the Challenger trophy cricket tournament in the month of December 2021 post-pandemic. The cricket tournament will be on similar lines to the T20 cricket tournament consisting of 4 teams having 16 differently-abled players. These differently-abled cricketers will be picked up from various state teams. The four teams are India Blue, India Orange, India Green and India Red. The tentative dates for the tournament are 17th, 18th and 19th December 2021 at a venue in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Please support the passion for cricket even after the players are being differently-abled.
