Veera, daughter of Vijay and Pooja, lives in Ahmednagar, Maharashtra. She is five months old and is battling a severe heart disease which causes intense sweating, and breathing complications and has made it impossible for her to gain weight.

According to the doctors at Maharashtra’s Jehangir Hospital (700.0 m from Pune Railway Station), Veera needs surgical intervention, which would cost Rs.5, 20,258/- (Rupees Five Lakh Twenty Thousand Two Hundred Fifty-Eight Only).

Vijay is the sole breadwinner in his family of five. He makes his living as a farmer and earns scanty income. He has borrowed money from his dear friend, but it hasn’t been enough.
