On the 2nd of November 2023, Jyothi welcomed two precious arrivals into the world. Yet, the joy of their birth was accompanied by concern as these little ones arrived prematurely at just seven months, weighing a mere 1.5 kgs. The doctors suspected Sepsis, prompting immediate NICU care for the babies.

The children are currently admitted to the NICU of Telangana’s Medicover Women and Child Hospital (0.3 kilometres away from Raidurg Metro Station) and require oxygen support for survival. The total cost of the treatment is Rs 13,90,000/ (Rupees Thirteen Lakhs Ninety Thousand Only) which is a hefty price for the family.

Jyothi's husband, K. Balakishan works as a private teacher, earning Rs 15,000 monthly, supporting a family of five as the sole breadwinner. Residing in a rented home, they've struggled to save, dedicating all resources to cover the treatment expenses for their newborns.
