Just a few months ago, little Tanish Salve, a 2-year-old boy from Nashik, Maharashtra, was like any other child his age, full of innocence and quiet joy. However, 3–4 months ago, his parents noticed signs that something was not right. Medical consultations and tests soon revealed a serious condition, Chiari Malformation with Syringomyelia, turning their world upside down.

Since the diagnosis, Tanish’s days have been filled with hospital visits and careful monitoring. Doctors at Apollo Hospitals, Nashik, Maharashtra (10.6 km from Nashik Railway Station), have advised Foramen Magnum Decompression with duraplasty, along with supportive care, a crucial procedure that can relieve pressure on his brain and spinal cord, giving him a chance at a healthier future.

Tanish’s father, Sachin Salve, is the sole earner of a family of six, working a private job with limited income. With existing debts and daily expenses, arranging the Rs. 4,50,000/- (Rupees Four Lakh Fifty Thousand Only) required for treatment has become extremely difficult. His mother, Sonali Salve, stays by his side, offering comfort and strength through every moment.

Despite the challenges, Tanish continues to fight with quiet courage. With timely support and care, he can be given the chance to grow, heal, and live the childhood he truly deserves.
