The most heart-breaking thing for any parent is to see their child suffer. Such was the case with nine-year-old Harshita Sharma and her family. Normal life and happiness have come with a price tag of Rs. 10,00,000/- for this little girl. She is suffering from a Brain Tumor. Little Harshita has grown tired of asking her parents when she’d be free of constant injections and hospital visits.

It all started in September 2021 when her parents, Mr. Mantu Sarma and Mrs. Jonali Sarma noticed her wobble while walking, which was followed by frequent vomiting. They took her to Excelcare Hospital, Guwahati. After undergoing an MRI scan, she was diagnosed with High-risk Medulloblastoma Stage IV (Brain Tumor). Due to the complex location of the tumor, she underwent three surgeries for extraction.

This little girl has hardly had a normal childhood since then, as she has always been in and out of hospitals. She is currently undergoing radiation therapy in the Apollo Cancer Centres, Chennai. She needs to undergo three chemotherapy sessions as a part of her treatment.

Since Harshita was diagnosed with a tumor, the family has borrowed a lot of money from others to support her treatment. They need Rupees Ten Lakhs more for the treatment. Harshita's father works as a sales executive earning Rs. 10,000/- per month and her mother is a homemaker. She has an elder sister Yasmita (13). Her father is the sole income provider in the family of four. He had to leave his job to be there for his daughter.

This nine-year-old girl has been putting on a brave face and fighting this battle for life like a true warrior, but to come out on the winning side, she really needs your support. The family has exhausted all their savings. You are their only hope, please help!
