Priti Padvi is an eight-year-old daughter of Mr Manhor Ramesh Padvi and Mrs Bharti Padvi. They hail from Mumbai, Maharashtra. The only source of income for the family is through Mr Manhor, who works on a farm and earns 3,000/- (Rupees Three Thousand Only) a month. Mrs Bharti (mother) manages the house and looks after the children. When Priti was born, she was healthy. However, two months later, her parents discovered she had begun to have issues, so they took their daughter to the nearby hospital to find out what was wrong with her.

Following a few tests and scans, Priti was diagnosed with Restricted Peri membranous Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD) which is a heart defect and was suggested surgery. Priti was too young to undergo the procedure, so they had to wait for a few years. Priti's parents took her to Nashik for a second opinion, but the diagnosis remained the same. Currently, Priti is at Balaji Heart and Diagnostic Centre, Maharashtra. The doctors have advised Priti to undergo a heart surgery. The estimated cost of the treatment is Rs. 2,50,000/- (Rupees Two Lakhs Fifty Thousand Only). The family is finding it difficult to source such a huge amount for the treatment of their daughter.
