 The twin baby girls of Mrs. Drisya and Mr. Abhilash were born in the 32nd week of pregnancy (7.5 months). They suffer from extreme prematurity, low birth weight and respiratory distress syndrome. The family of four lives in Calicut, Kerala. Mr. Abhilash is the sole breadwinner. He works as an autorickshaw driver and earns only Rs. 4,000/- per month.

 Mrs. Drisya underwent complications in her pregnancy due to which her twin babies had to be delivered preterm. Both the babies weigh 1,270 grams and require NICU stay to develop healthily. The treatment is being carried out at Star Care Hospital, Kerala. The estimated cost of their treatment is Rs. 5,00,000/- for each baby, meaning Rs. 10,00,000/- for them bot
