Khadija Khanam Khan is a 4-years and 11-months girl from Dhule, Maharashtra. Her father Mr. Mujaid Khan is the breadwinner in the family of five. Her mother, Mrs. NikhatParven Khan is a homemaker. Khadija's brother Maaz Khan is 10 and suffers from a neurological disorder. Their grandmother lives with them.

Khadija was 3.5 years old when her parents noticed a swelling in her stomach. She could not pass urine at all for many days. When taken to the local doctor, her blood check-up was done and, she was diagnosed with Thalassemia Major along with Hypersplenism. Her spleen is abnormally enlarged, and her body couldn't detoxify itself. Her parents took her to the government hospital for regular blood check-ups and medications to control her situation. However, it was not enough.

Mr. Mujaid's family friend advised her father to visit AshokaMedicover Hospital, Nashik, wherein her Splenectomy will take place. The estimated cost of her surgery is Rs. 2,25,000/- (Rupees Two Lakhs and Twenty Five Thousand Only). Khadija's father Mr. Mujaid is unable to raise this huge amount and is seeking help from you.
