Giridhar V. is 11-year-old boy from Bengaluru, Karnataka. His father, Mr. S. Vijaykumar, works as a labourer who gets paid on a contractual basis. His mother, Mrs. Geetha K.N., is a homemaker. Giridhar's younger brother Chandan is 6-years-old. The family of four lives in their little house.

Giridhar is fighting the battles life has been throwing at him since the tender age of six. He was suffering from painful symptoms which unfortunately went neglected by his parents as common injuries. Later, when he turned 10, his parents realized that something was seriously wrong with their elder son's health. Giridhar was diagnosed with Cervico Dorsal Scoliosis which is an unusual but potentially severe disfiguring cause of spinal deformity.

Understanding the severity, his parents took him to the Department of Spine Surgery at BhagwanMahaveer Jain Hospital, Bengaluru, Karnataka. Here, the doctors told Giridhar's parents that urgent surgery is required to save him. If this surgery is not performed soon, it could lead to a cardiac complication, resulting in his death. The estimated cost of the surgery is Rs. 4,50,000/- (Rupees Four Lakhs and Fifty Thousand Only).

Giridhar's father earns only Rs. 10,000 per month and the family's fluctuating financial condition has left them helpless with nobody to turn to. Today, you are their only support. Please come forward and save Giridhar.
