“We were ecstatic to start the beautiful journey of being parents for the first time. We took the utmost care of our baby, and she brought us lots of happiness. But as time passed, we noticed that our little angel, Gargi, would cry frequently and her body looked rather weak. When we used to weigh her, it would always be around 5.8 gm and it never increased. Worried, we took her to a local hospital in Pune, where they informed us that there might be an underlying issue with Gargi's health and that she needs better treatment. When taken to AIMs, Pune, we got the most devastating news. Our little angel was diagnosed with a rare heart defect.”-

Gargi is the 11-month-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Pote from Pune, Maharashtra. She was diagnosed with Situs Solitus, Levordia Cardiac TAPVC when. It is an exceedingly rare and complicated heart defect. Gargi was three months old when her body seemed weak. Her weight has not increased since a few months ago. She is supposed to undergo open heart surgery in AiMS Hospital, Pune. The estimated cost of the surgery is Rs. 6,20,000/- (Rupees Six Lakh Twenty Thousand only).

“I am a daily wage labourer and earn only Rs. 300/- a day. With this minimum income, I have to manage all the expenses of my family of five members. Never in my wildest dreams, I must have thought that we would have to see this day, our little girl suffering that too at this stage. She can't even speak properly; all her pain is expressed through cries. I want to provide her with the best treatment, but the money required is too much. Will you please help us save our baby girl?
