Anvi is a 5-month-old girl from Sangali, Maharashtra. Anvi’s Father, Mr Sambhaji Mali works as a labourer and her mother, Mrs Shubhangi is a housewife. The family consists of 5 members.

Anvi was born with Hirschsprung disease. Due to this defect, her large intestines were affected causing her problem in passing the stool. This condition is present since her birth (congenital) as a result of missing nerve cells in the muscles of the baby's colon. Anvi has to undergo regular follow up and bowel washouts.

She now has to undergo two surgeries; a Soave procedure with Boley modification which would cost Rs.1,50,000/- (Rupees One lakh Fifty thousand only) followed by Proximal diversion closure which would cost Rs. 1,00,000/- (Rupees one lakh only). The total estimated cost of her surgery is Rs. 2,50,000/-(Rupees two lakh fifty thousand only).

Anvi’s father, being the only earning person in the family is not able to bear the expenses of his daughter’s treatment. She is so little to undergo so many needles, but this is her faith. We can stand by her and help in saving this little child.
