“For the past two years, my daughter has been in constant pain. We've managed to keep the treatment costs down by working hard every day, saving money, and begging for aid, but now we're drained and unable to get further finances for her operation. We had a difficult time learning about this condition, and we don't want to spend any more time delaying her treatment. I desperately plea for your help. Please help me raise funds for my daughter.”

- Mrs.AasmaKhatoon ; (Mother)

Aliya Fatima is a 15-year-old beautiful girl from West Bengal. Being the younger daughter of the family, she is loved beyond words. When she was 14-years-old, Aliya ran a high fever for several days. She had trouble breathing and felt nauseous. Concerned, her parents, Mr. MD Aslam and Mrs.AasmaKhatoon brought her to a neighbouring hospital. Their world came crashing down in March 2020, when they got the worst news any parent could receive. Their beautiful girl was diagnosed with End-Stage Renal Disease.

Aliya's treatment began immediately, but due to the COVID-19 lockdown, it became a challenge for her family to continue her treatment. Her father being a driver earns up to Rs. 10,000/- per month supporting the family of six. Having depleted all of his savings while treating his ailing daughter and tending to his family's basic needs during the pandemic, Aliya's father still managed to raise money from his generous relatives and friends. Her siblings had to drop out of school because the majority of their funds were going towards their sister's treatment.

Aliya was treated at home for two years, but her condition began to deteriorate, and doctors advised that a Kidney Transplant was her last hope of survival. After a lot of challenges, the family is striving to face this difficult phase of their life. The estimated cost of the surgery is Rs. 10,55,000/- (Rupees Ten Lakhs Fifty five-Thousand Only). All the tests have been initiated, and the family has prepared themselves for Aliya's kidney transplant. Her mother being her donor is her only saviour. The expense is huge and the family cannot raise such a huge amount for their daughter's surgery. They have already put everything they own at risk to save Aliya. She has the opportunity to undergo surgery but her family lacks the financial means to do so. Please help the family raise funds for Aliya's surgery. No amount is too little or too large.
