Kunal is a 13 year old boy from Ambegaon, Pune. Kunal’s Father, Mr. Kishore Barse is a tution teacher and his mother, Mrs. Kavita Barse is a housewife.

A year ago, Kunal started getting swelling in his knees and experienced tremendous pain on his legs. When taken to the doctor, he was suggested for a few medical tests. The test reports showed that Kunal is suffering from kidney disease. He was suggested medication. After two months, he was suffering from pneumonia and since then he had to undergo dialysis thrice a week. His treatment started in Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital, Pune. He is suggested to undergo a kidney transplant. Kunal’s mother, Mrs. Kavita is his donor. The estimate cost of his treatment is Rs. 7,50,000/- (Rupees seven Lakh Fifty thousand only).

Kunal’s father, being the only earning person in the family is not able to bear the expenses of his son’s treatment.
