Gayathri Struggles With Ailing Heart, Please Save Her
“The agony of witnessing our daughter endure this relentless pain is indescribable. Behind the facade of strength she bravely presents to us, we can feel the tremors of fear that resonate deep within her heart. A decade has elapsed in this arduous journey, and all we yearn for is a semblance of normalcy for her.”-
Somnola Laxmi; (Mother)
Somala Gayathri entered this world carrying the heavy burden of a complex heart disease. Her journey took a harrowing turn at the tender age of ten, as she battled escalating symptoms like fever, suffocation, and chest pain. Yet, she faced the ordeal head-on and triumphed through a successful surgery.
However, the relentless grip of her condition persists, casting a shadow over her future. The medical experts at Hyderabad’s Apollo Institute of Medical Sciences & Research (10 km from Hyderabad railway station Railway Station) have conveyed the urgency of not one but two critical surgeries for Gayathri. The daunting cost of the Fontan Completion with MAPCA Coil Closure surgery stands at Rs 5,00,000/-(Rupees Five Lakh Only).
Gayathri's father, Ravi, is the sole provider for his family of five, toiling as a daily labourer. His modest income barely sustains them, further strained by a monthly rent of Rs 3,500 to keep a roof over their heads. The family, having already depleted their resources in the relentless pursuit of their daughter's well-being, now finds themselves at a crossroads.
In these trying times, the Somnala family appeals for your compassionate support. Extend your helping hand to alleviate the burden weighing on their hearts. Share Gayathri’s story with your friends and family, or consider donating in the fundraiser.
