Life Dependent on Blood Transfusions, Please save Dheeksha from misfortune

“Five years ago my life was brightened up by the birth of my daughter, Dheeksha. I promised to be the best father I could possibly be. But little did I know that dread would come knocking on my doors. My heart was stabbed with grief, the moment I found out that my daughter was battling such a heinous disease. The happy life of Nagendra and his wife, Kavitha came crashing down the moment they found out that their daughter, Dheeksha was suffering from Thalassemia Major. What started as swelling, turned out to be the worst nightmare possible for the family.
Today, Dheeksha’s life depends on monthly blood transfusions. But these transfusions only borrow time for the five-year-old child. Doctors at Aster CMI Hospital in Bengaluru have said that Dheeksha needs a bone marrow transplant which costs Rs.31,00,000/- ( Rupees Thirty-One Lakhs Only).
It pains the heart of Dheeksha’s parents to see their daughter’s toys gathering dust. They want their child to play and jump around like any five-year-old. But this disease has robbed all joy out of the child’s life.
Nagendra works as a delivery boy and earns about Rs 11,500. With this meagre income, he has to manage the expenses of five and also pay the house rent. He has no way of amassing Thirty-One Lakh Rupees.
Nagendra has managed to pay for the treatment by borrowing from his loved ones. But he has run out of sources of funding. Dheeksha’s health now lies in your hands. Please donate as much as you can for this little angel’s treatment. If you can’t donate, a share would be helpful as well.
