Vipin and his wife, Radha were in the seventh heaven upon witnessing the birth of their daughter, Avni. But their happiness barely lasted three- four months, as dread came knocking into their lives. Avni got diagnosed with ‘Tetralogy of Fallot/PDA’.

Tetralogy of Fallot is a combination of four congenital heart defects. The four defects are a ventricular septal defect (VSD), pulmonary stenosis, a misplaced aorta and a thickened right ventricular wall (right ventricular hypertrophy). Doctors at Paras Hospital in Gurgaon, Haryana have said that she needs to undergo Cardiac Cath Study followed by TOF Repair. The cost of which rounds up to Rs. 4,00,000/- (Rupees Four Lakh Only).

For Vipin, this amount is unimaginable, as he earns a meagre income from his job as a helper. Adding to his miseries, he is the sole breadwinner in his family of four.
