Ashok used to get sick frequently and was comparatively a weaker child, but we never thought that it would be this bad. When he was three months old, he was diagnosed with kidney disease, the doctors said that he will need a kidney transplant in the future. Ashok is the 17-year-old son of Mr. Mune Gowda and Mrs. Nagaveni from Bengaluru. He was diagnosed with kidney disease when he was as young as three months old, and it only got worse from then. Ashok would frequently get sick, and suffer from high fever, weakness, and pain frequently. His home dialysis cycles started when was very young. It got worse when he turned 10 years old, and his hospital dialysis cycles started three days a week.

Through a lot of help, borrowing money, and support from their friends and family, Ashok’s parents have managed to continue his treatment to this day, but it has gone beyond their control now as the doctors at St. John’s Medical College Hospital, Bengaluru have proposed a kidney transplant worth Rs. 10,00,000/- (Rupees Ten Lakhs only).

Ashok’s parents are willing to do everything for their son so he can survive, but they are feeling hopeless as the money required for the treatment is impossible for them to collect. Ashok’s mother is the donor for the kidney transplant, but unfortunately, that is not enough.

Mr. Mune Gowda is the sole breadwinner of the family who had to leave his minimum paying work as a labourer three months ago because he met with an accident and got his leg fractured.
