“I wish it were me instead of my daughter going for chemotherapy sessions and hospital visits; I cannot see my one-and-a-half-year-old go through all that anymore. Anvika is our world, we want to see her living a healthy, happy life. Time is ticking fast, and she needs surgery to be cancer-free but how? Anvika is a one-year-five-month-old baby girl. When Anvika was only nine months old, diagnosed with a Germ Cell Tumor, a growth of cancerous cells that form from reproductive cells. She lives with her parents, Mr. Yogesh and Mrs. Chitralekha in Shahapur, Maharashtra. Anvika underwent a biopsy (procedure to remove tissue) when she was one year old, but unfortunately, that was not the ultimate solution. After many chemotherapy sessions, now the doctors at Fortis Hospital, Mumbai have suggested a surgery followed by multiple chemotherapy cycles. The estimated cost of the treatment is Rs. 9,75,000/- (Rupees Nine Lakhs Seventy-Five Thousand Only).

Anvika’s father, the sole breadwinner in the family of five, earns a minimum salary that hardly covers their monthly expenses, much less the daily medications of his daughter. With time, medical expenses have exhausted Anvika’s parents’ savings. They had to borrow money from their friends and relatives and had to mortgage their valuables to pay for Anvika’s treatment. Now, they have no other source to get money, hence, they have turned to you for help. Please help the Pandit family in times of need and save their daughter.
