Anamika, a ten-year-old baby girl has been battling early-onset Scoliosis of her Spine for the past three years. Her once carefree life has been reshaped by this condition, making everyday tasks a challenge. Yet, despite these hurdles, Anamika is determined to pursue her education and currently attends 6th-standard classes wearing her prescribed belt.

The specialists at Kerala’s Medical Trust Hospital (2 km from Ernakulam South Railway Station) have recommended a series of surgeries, starting with the crucial Scoliosis correction surgery - Growing Rod Surgery. The estimated cost for this vital procedure is around Rs. 5,00,000/- (Rupees five lakhs only), a significant sum for Anamika's family.

Anamika’s father, Rajeev KK, works hard as an auto-rickshaw driver to provide for their family of five. However, his earnings have become unpredictable due to the intensified care needed for his daughter. The family has already depleted their savings, borrowed from friends and neighbours, and exhausted every resource available for Anamika’s treatment. Now, they find themselves at a crossroads, lacking the means to overcome this financial obstacle standing between Anamika and her treatment.
