“It seems that my child is cursed. He was born with a weak heart and had already undergone surgery when he was one and he still needs to go another. But now he has also been diagnosed with blood cancer. He looks at me with tearful eyes and I have nothing to offer him except false consolations”
Hasrath ; (Father)
Muhammed Aflah, a ten-year-old child from Malappuram, Kerala was born with a hole in his heart, making him undergo surgery at the age of one. He still needs to go through another heart surgery but this time he has another battle to fight alongside, a blood cancer.
Doctors at Aster MIMS Hospital (2.9 km from Calicut Railway Station) have said that his treatment would cost Rs. 15,00,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Lakh Only).
Hasrath is a driver and lives in a joint family. Aflah’s school has decided to contribute, and Hasrath has taken out a mortgage for his car, but it still hasn’t been enough.
Fifteen lakhs is not only the price of Aflah’s treatment; it is also the price of his smile and happiness, the price of all the happy memories the family has spent with him, and the price they are willing to pay to see him healthy, hear his laughter fill their home once more, and cherish every moment without the shadow of worry.
Please donate as much as you can to help Aflah escape his misfortune. Share the fundraiser with all your friends and family members.
