Shlok is a thirteen-year-old child from Nagpur, Maharashtra who has been diagnosed with Spinal and Extra Spinal Neurofibroma causing him paralysis on his right arm and loss of appetite. The family has travelled to Mumbai, Maharashtra for treatment, leaving behind their household and job.

The doctors at Apollo Hospitals (38.1 km from Mumbai Central Railway Station) have suggested a Complex Excision of Neurolemmoma which would cost Rs. 10,13,800/- (Rupees Ten Lakh Thirteen Thousand Eight Hundred Only).

Shlok’s father, Vinod, works as a daily wage labourer and lives in a joint family. He is also responsible for his orphaned niece, who is handicapped. His family has come together to help the child but it hasn’t been enough.
